Elgar lifts SA 'A' to 235/6
Left hand opener Dean Elgar hit an unbeaten 118 to help the touring
South Africa 'A' team reach 235 for 6 in their first innings on the
opening day of their second four day unofficial test match against Sri
Lanka 'A' which commenced at the SSC ground in Maitland Place yesterday.
Elgar struck nine boundaries facing 276 deliveries and also put on 62
runs for the first wicket. South Africa 'A': 235 for 6 (S. C. Cook 27,
D. Elgar 118 n.o, R. Rossouw 24, S. Senanayake 2 for 51, J. Gunaratne 2
for 39) v Sri Lanka 'A'.
