Cops in hot water for ignoring message on 119

A disciplinary inquiry is on against three policemen who had ignored a message about a fire at a factory Thursday night.

The three policemen of Moratuwa police had allegedly ignored a message on 119 from Deputy Inspector General Daya Samaraweera about the fire at Moratuwa.

The Sub Inspector, police sergeant and constable have already been transferred.
