Prince of Wales’ College beat formidable D. S. Senanayake Vidyalaya, Colombo easily by eight wickets in their inter-school under 15 division one third match of round two organized by SLSCA and played at Moratuwa.

Visitors batting first were all out for 136 runs with skipper Suchira Fernando claiming 3 for 13 and in reply homesters notched up the required score for the loss of two wickets with Ashen Mendis unbeaten on 50 runs. DSSV 136 in 46 overs (M. Saroos 25, A. A. Inham 25, Jayanga Peiris 2 for 32, Suchira Fernando 3 for 13). PWC 138 for 2 in 24.2 overs (Kusal Mendis 47, Ashen Mendis 50 n.o., Janeesha Fernando 25 n.o.).
