Ragama CC crush SSC

Hostile bowling from left arm seamer Nilanka Premaratne (4 for 29) and Vimanga Perera (4 for 10) helped Ragama CC crush SSC by a massive margin of 225 runs in their SLC Under 23 division I three day cricket tournament match which concluded at Reid Avenue yesterday.

Ragama CC: 297 and 214 (N. Mazahir 45, S. Ranasuriya 36, N. Fernando 30, S. Chandima 6 for 104, S. Ramesh 2 for 44)

SSC: 177 and 109 (G. Manishan 49, N. Premaratne 4 for 29, V. Perera 4 for 10).

Superb win for NCC

NCC after conceding first innings points came back magnificently to snatch a remarkable outright victory by 150 runs in their SLC Under 23 division I three day cricket tournament mach which concluded at Havelock Park yesterday. NCC: 140 and 395 (A. Perera 184, S. Pussegolla 59, M. Madushanka 3 for 121, R. Perera 2 for 54).

BRC: 191 and 194 (A. Rabel 80, A. Solomans 43, R. Laksiri 5 for 66, R. Wijenayake 4 for 41).

Moors win

Off spinner Sanjaya Fernando captured five wickets for 50 to help Moors SC beat Sri Lanka Air Force SC outright by 121 runs in their SLC Under 23 division I three day cricket tournament match which concluded at Braybrooke Place yesterday.

Moors SC: 214 and 277

Air Force SC: 203 and 167 (S. Fernando 5 for 50, M. Perera 3 for 40).

CCC victorious

Dashing opener Andri Berenger hit a sparkling half century as the CCC defeated Moratuwa SC outright by eight wickets in their SLC Under 23 division I three day cricket tournament match which concluded at Maitland Crescent yesterday.

CCC: 298 and 77 for 2 (A. Beringer 50).

Moratuwa SC: 148 and 226 (N. de Soysa 42, L. Fernando 33, S. Gunawardena 29 n.o, M. Mendis 24, P. Priyankara 4 for 80, L. Manoj 3 for 25).

Tamils in innings win

Former Sri Lanka fast bowler Isuru Udana and Lahiru Gamage snapped up four wickets each to give Tamil Union a rousing innings and 88 run outright victory over Seeduwa Raddoluwa CC in their SLC Under 23 division I three day cricket tournament match which concluded at Katunayake yesterday.

Seeduwa Raddoluwa CC: 230 and 90 (C. Ranaweera 40, I. Udana 4 for 36, L. Gamage 4 for 36).

Tamil Union: 408 for 8 decl.
