Malaysian firm to develop roads
A Malaysian investment company Nexus will assist the road development
work in Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara districts.
The investment will be around USD 100 million for this project. One
hundred kilometres in the three districts will be developed under this
agreement following the completion of the feasibility report. Around
1,100 km will include 205 projects in the Colombo district covering 225
km 367 projects in Gampaha district covering 402 km and 238 projects in
Kalutara district covering 481 km. A MoU was signed by the Chief
Minister Prasanna Ranatunga and CGS M Nexus International. RK |
