Esidisi cricket festival begins today

The Esidisi cricket festival organized by the Ministry of Mass Media and Information will be worked off at the Shalika Grounds, Narahenpita from August 6 to 8, 2010.

Nearly 26 teams representing the media will be taking part in the tournament which is being organized to foster friendship and understanding between the state and private media organizations.

The opening ceremony will be on August 6 (Friday) at 8.45 a.m. under the patronage of Minister of Media and Information Keheliya Rambukwella while the closing ceremony will be on August 8 at 3.00 p.m. presided over by the Ministry Secretary W.B. Ganegala.
