Logart praises Murali's fantastic career

Chief Executive Officer International Cricket Council Haroon Lorgat paid tribute to Muttiah Muralitharan for a fantastic Test career on the fifth and final day of the opening test match between Sri Lanka and India at the Galle International Stadium yesterday.

"This is a special day. All the fans have stayed on right to the end. On behalf of ICC and the Indian team, we wish Murali the very best. You have been a living legend and extremely special to all of us. Thanks Murali from all of us." Muralitharan in addition to his Player of The Match award was presented with mementos from the Galle Stadium curator Jayananda Warnaweera, Ten Sports, sponsors Micromax and his alma mater St. Anthony's College, Katugastota.
