Another record for Murali

Champion off spinner Muttiah Muralitharan achieved another milestone when he completed a total of one hundred wickets against India in his farewell test match which concluded at the Galle International Stadium yesterday.

Muralitharan is the first bowler in test history to perform this unique feat. He also equaled former Australian legend Shane Warne’s record of aggregating over 100 wickets against three different countries.

Muralitharan has already captured 112 wickets against England and 104 wickets against South Africa respectively.
