Brand Mantra 2010:
IAA workshop successful
It was a most valuable experience for fifty marketeers from leading
companies who attended the 'Brand Mantra 2010' - the residential
workshop on effective marketing organized by the International
Advertising Association (IAA) Sri Lanka Chapter recently.
'Brand Mantra' held at Hilton Colombo Residencies, featured local and
international professionals from the brands and marketing fraternity,
who made presentations on a wide range of topics related to marketing.
The participants from the advertising and marketing fields were
unanimous in their opinion that the workshop was an ideal forum for
young brand custodians to equip themselves with necessary tools to
deliver best results for their respective organizations and brands.
The workshop comprised interactive presentations, a case study as
well as group assignments, where participants were required to present a
marketing plan at the end of the program.
This was the fourth successive year that the IAA Sri Lanka Chapter
organized 'Brand Mantra' which has now become a regular feature in the
IAA annual calendar. Unilever, Peoples Bank and Asian Alliance were
sponsors for 'Brand Mantra 2010'.
"We are more than satisfied at the response we have received for
'Brand Mantra' and feel so encouraged that young marketeers are
realising the value of it," said, IAA Sri Lanka Chapter President Renuka
Marshall.
"It is one of the most successful programs that IAA organizes every
year to provide a platform for participants to refresh their knowledge
and also get updated of what is going on in the marketplace," she said.
The success of the workshop was mainly due to the effort put in by
IAA Directors Hasrath Munasinghe and Ramani Samarasundera, she said. |
