Eric Rajapakse Opticians are offering a free ticket from Jaffna to Colombo or to return to Jaffna for anyone who purchases a pair of spectacles from them in the Thinakaran luxury bus service run by the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd.

Eric Rajapakse Director Rajiv Rajapakse said a number of people from Jaffna were coming to get spectacles and their company had a branch in Jaffna town till 1980. Our company had served the Sri Lankan people from 1917 earning the nation's goodwill.

He said there were four Eric Rajapakse showrooms in Colombo and the offer of a free ticket in the Thinakaran luxury bus to Jaffna is available for any person who buys a pair of spectacles from any of these showrooms, he said.
