CMC to hold cataract clinic

The Colombo Municipal Council will conduct a cataract surgery clinic
in association with Colombo-West Rotary Club next week at the Ragama
Teaching Hospital.
CMC City Chief Administrator Omar Kamil said that arrangements have
been made to conduct a cataract surgery for 50 patients in the Colombo
city. The program will be carried out jointly with the Colombo-West
Rotary Club.
“The financial support will be provided by the Rotary Club,” Kamil
told the Daily News.
He said the CMC has planned to carry out many other health care
activities in the city.
Meanwhile, the CMC has conducted dengue mosquito breeding prevention
programs in Colombo city and requested the public to cooperate with the
CMC and its activities. |
