CR face tough task

Last year's runners-up CR and FC which scraped through to a 13-9 win over Navy last Sunday will have the tough task of overcoming Sri Lanka Air Force in their Caltex 'A' Division League Cup Championship match at Katunayake on June 27 (Sunday).

The Red Shirts scored a hard fought 18-13 win in the first round game after being led 6-13 at the breather and another close game is on the cards tomorrow. The Longden Place Club will miss the services of skipper and Sri Lanka No 8 Dushanth Lewke who is on the injured list and also will be sans scrum half Srinath Sooriyabandara and centre Shabbir Mohamed who are down with flu.
