Police nab absconding suspects

Two suspects wanted in connection with 67 cases of house breaking and other thefts and against whom 15 open warrants had been issued by Courts were arrested by offices of the Central Province Special Investigations Unit yesterday.

The Duo had stolen goods and valuables worth nearly Rs. 5 million, Police said.

According to them, one of the suspects sold flowers near the Dalada Maligawa during the day and carried out robberies in the night.
