New ADFIAP Chairman
DFCC Bank’s Chief Executive Nihal Fonseka has been elected as the new
Chairman of the Association of Development Finance Institutions of Asia
and the Pacific (ADFIAP).

He took over the Chairmanship at the conclusion of the 33rd Annual
Convention held in Vancouver, Canada recently.
ADFIAP is the focal point of all financial institutions engaged in
funding and providing support services for development in the region.
The Association has 117 members from 42 countries ranging from Pacific
Islands, Asia, Middle East and North America.
DFCC Bank is a founder member of the ADFIAP. ADFIAP promotes business
cooperation among members and advocates on sustainable development in
the areas of environmental due diligence, local economic development
through SME promotion, socially responsible investment as well as
corporate governance issues. The permanent secretariat of ADFIAP is
based in Manila, Philippines. |
