Iran, Pakistan sign gas export deal

Iran and Pakistan formally signed on Sunday an export deal which commits the Islamic republic to supplying its eastern neighbour with natural gas from 2014. The contract is the latest step in completing a multi-billion dollar gas pipeline between Iran and Pakistan within the next four years.

Bolivia, South Africa to tighten ties

Talks on trade and diplomatic relations :

Bolivian President Evo Morales’ visit to South Africa for the World Cup opening ceremony paavd the way to consolidate bilateral ties, media sources highlighted Sunday. According to Cambio daily, Morales met in Johannesburg African Vice-President Kgalema Motlanthe Saturday , who asked to strengthen trade and diplomatic ties between two countries .

Plane crash kills nine

Nine people have been killed when a plane belonging to a politician running for governor in a Mexican state crashed Sunday, his staff said. But Roberto Borge, the powerful Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI)’s candidate for governor in the state of Quintana Roo, was not aboard at the time, said spokesman Gabriel Mendicutti.
