Chinese delegation meets Premier

A delegation of representatives of the China Friendship Association for South Asian Region met Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratne at the Parliament premises on June 8 .

The representatives informed the Prime Minister that China intends to establish a new association of South Asian countries that maintain a good relationship with China and a program will be implemented through this alliance to strengthen the development process of the member countries. Sri Lanka - China Social and Cultural Association Vice President Feng Zoview, said through this new alliance Sri Lanka will receive many benefits in the future.

Chinese envoy to Sri Lanka Young Kshujing was also present.
