Singapore Informatics moves to new premises

Inside the new premises

The Singapore Informatics Computer Institute (Pvt) Ltd , a pioneer in the country's education sector moved to its new premises at 519,T.B. Jayah Mawatha, Colombo 10 on Monday with the aim of offering more benefits to students and corporate clients.

The five storeyed building can accommodate approximately 1000 students. Facilities include a network lab with CISCO products, engineering labs and a library.

Institute Director, Boshan Dayaratne said that they have introduced novel programs and degree pathways in the fields of IT, marketing, business, cyber security and engineering.

The first branch of Singapore Informatics will be set up in Batticaloa shortly and eighty percent of negotiations pertaining to the new branch are completed by now. Apart from that, branches in Kandy, Galle and Jaffna are scheduled to be opened in the near future so as to educate more Sri Lankan and offer world recognized degrees.

All advanced diplomas offered by Singapore Informatics are substantiated by National Computing Centre (NCC) Manchester, UK and Informatics Academy in Singapore. Singapore Informatics has produced more than 300 graduates so far.
