Trinity beat Wesley -24/12

Trinity College Kandy cruised to a convincing 24 points to 12 points victory over Wesley College in their Singer inter-school under 20 division one league rugby tournament match worked off at Maitland Crescent yesterday. The Trinitians collected their points from two goals and two tries and Wesley College responded with a goal and a try. The scores were level 5-all at half time.

Winger Akila Dissanayake scored twice for the winners while second row forward Gotabhaya Mahesh and flanker Damith Dissanayake scored a try each. Centre Kanchana Ramanayake converted two tries for Trinity.
