Kuravanchi, a one character dance drama written by Thirikuda Rasapa
Kavirayar in the 17th century and containing 119 songs will be performed
by renowned Bharatha Natyam expontent Subashini Pathmanathan at the
Indian Cultural Centre (ICC), Colombo, on May 21 at 6 p.m.
This is the first dance drama which was introduced as the foundation
and source for development of dance drama inBharatha Natyam
