Navy Swimmers set two national records

Sri Lanka Navy Swimmers set up two national records during the short Course Swimming Championships which was conducted at the Hillwood College swimming pool recently. In addition to these two record breaking victories in the relays they also managed to win two more relays comfortably.

First they set up the record in the 4X50m Medley clocking a time of 1:54.67 secs. and later went on to register the next record in the 4X100m Free style event with a time of 3:49.98 secs.

The other two relay events the sailors won were men's 4X 50m Free Style and 4X 100m Medley.

In the overall standings the Sri Lanka Navy was placed third with 153 points behind St. Joseph's College 282.5 and Royal College 215.5 points.
