Chamari replaces Shashikala

Right arm fast bowler Chamari Polgampola will replace all rounder Shashikala Siriwardene in the Sri Lankan women's squad for the ICC World Twenty20 which is now in progress in the West Indies.

Off spinner Siriwardene had to pull out of the tournament due to an illness and the ICC's event technical committee has approved the replacement Polgampola last played for Sri Lanka during the World Twenty20 in England in 2009.
