Samarasinghe, Prabadhi best boxers

G.H.P Samarasinghe of the Unichela was named best Boxer (men) and
M.M.V Prabadhi of the Slimline was adjudged best women's Boxer (women)
at the MAS Boxing Championships 2010 held at Slimline Boxing Ring
recently.
Slimline retained the overall championship with 38 points. Thurulie
won the second place with 15 points, while MAS Southern won the third
place with 10 points.
W.A.H. Dilshara of the Slimline put up a fine performance to beat
Sashikala of the Thurulie of the Women's LT Welter Weight Under 64 kgs
final bout and H.A.S.N. Heelbathdeniya of Slimline beat H.A Gayan
Anuruddha of the Thurulie in the Men's LT Welter Weight Under 64 kgs
final.
Meanwhile S.A.I Shehan of the Unichela beat C.M.G.A Bandara of the
MAS Silueta in the LT Heavy Weight Under 81 kgs final and L.K.M
Priyadarshani of the Linea beat S. Karunadasa of Thurulie in their
Feather Weight Under 57 kgs final bout.
