Police seek public assistance to identify body

A 60-year-old was murdered near Nawaloka Roundabout, Peliyagoda on Friday night by an unknown person. His body was found in a pool of blood, by the Peliyagoda police.

The body is now lying at the National Hospital, Colombo Mortuary.

Police seek public assistance to identify the body, which is fair complexioned and 5 ft 7 inches tall. At the time of the murder he was dressed in a white shirt and blue coloured saron. No arrest have been made. Peliyagoda police is investigating.
