Four electrocuted while attempting to tap power

Four persons were electrocuted when they attempted to tap electricity from a high tension line.

The incident occurred in Kalawelgala in Suriyawewa on Sunday night. The victims were all chena cultivators. They had attempted to extend a power line to the Vadiya of their chena.

They were found dead on admission to the Hambantota Hospital.
