CMA Global Summit in Lanka
The second Global Management Accounting Summit will be held from June
29 to July 1 in Colombo.
CMA Sri Lanka will be the host Management Accounting Body for the
summit. The Summit will be held in the ballroom Cinnamon Lakeside
Colombo.
The Co-hosts to the Summit will be the management accounting bodies
of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. The technical partners will be the
management accounting bodies of USA and Canada.
The theme of the Global Summit is CMA for Sustainable Business. It
provides a number of topics and eminent foreign and local speakers to
address on the sustainability issues which could be explained as
development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the
ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
The Summit would have an official inauguration in the presence of
distinguished local and foreign dignitaries eight Sessions on
Governance, Sustainability, Risk Management, CSR and Environment, Panel
discussions with Presidents of Member Bodies and Business Leaders on
Strategy and Sustainable Business, Contemporary Financial Management and
sustainability issues in business and a Valedictory Session.
Leading speakers both overseas and local have been invited to address
the Summit. Foreign speakers will be from USA, Canada, UK, Australia,
Singapore, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Nepal.
The Summit is for finance and accounting professionals, chairmen,
managing directors, CEOs, directors, management accountants, senior
management, management & financial accounting staff, business executives
and managers.
The first Global Summit was held in New Delhi India in 2008 and was
hosted by the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. |
