Suspected LTTE financier arrested
A suspected supporter and financier of the LTTE
has been arrested in Germany. The German media reported yesterday
that he was produced in Court. He had reportedly been collecting
funds for the LTTE since 2002 in Germany.

Teenager killed
An investigation is conducted by the
Chavakachcheri Police on the murder of a 17-year-old schoolboy
allegedly by three others of the same age. The teenager has
allegedly been abducted for the purpose of obtaining a ransom.
