Sanath voluntarily removes cutouts

Tough stand against polls violators:

Matara District UPFA candidate and cricketer Sanath Jayasuriya voluntarily removed all his cutouts yesterday. He said he took this step to respect election laws.

Addressing journalists, Jayasuriya said he never gave any room in his political life to remove anyone else's posters, cutouts or decorations and added he would remove anyone involved in his political campaign if caught while engaged in such acts.

"My political campaign would be a peaceful and non-violent one," he said.
