Fonseka faces over five charges
Military Spokesman Major General Prasad
Samarasinghe yesterday said more than five charges will be filed
against former Army Commander General Sarath Fonseka within a few
days. This will done in compliance with the provisions of the Army
Act before a Court Martial, he said.

Fonseka given mobile phone to talk only to daughters

Samarasinghe yesterday said former Army Commander General Sarath
Fonseka was given the chance to use a mobile phone since yesterday
on the condition that it be used to contact his two daughters only.
