Junior Davis Cup:
Good start for Sri Lanka

The Junior Davis Cup (BNP Paribas) and the world Junior Tennis
Competition both of the pre qualifying stage in the Asia/Oceania zone,
are concurrently taking place - with the competitions having begun
yesterday at the SLTA courts.
In the opening day, Sri Lanka did well to win both their ties one
against Saudi Arabia in the Junior Davis Cup preliminaries and the other
in the first game of the Junior Tennis competition against Syria. Sri
Lankans dominated play to the extent that they won all three matches in
each category.
