UN demands $ 870 million for Afghanistan
UN: United Nations demanded Wednesday for $ 870 million to give
assistance to the poorest community in Afghanistan affected by natural
phenomena and wars. The demand was made in Kabul by the UN Special Vice
President in that Asian country Robert Watkins, as reported by the
headquarters of the world organization in New York.
The funds requested are necessary to gain progress in health,
nutrition, sanitation and drinking water, emphasized the official.
