'Siyoth Ru' on birds

Siyoth Ru an exhibition of thread art was held from January 14 to 17
at Jetwing St. Andrew's Nuwara Eliya.
"Siyoth Ru", with 30 thread art exhibits was inspired creations of
Samanthi Gamage, who had brought out the life like colours of these
beautiful birds.
"Siyoth Ru" has perhaps introduced a new trend in wild life art. An
immense amount of patience is required to make complex variations of
nature on cloth using only a needle and few threads, according to the
artist. |
