New MP takes oaths

Irangika RANGE and Sandasena MARASINGHE

Sandanam Arulsamy yesterday took oaths as a Member of Parliament before Speaker W.J.M. Lokubandara.

He fills the vacancy created by the death of Community Development and Social Inequity Eradication Minister P. Chandrasekeram. He is a member of the Upcountry People’s Front and represents the Nuwara Eliya district.
