First Deyata Kirula outside Colombo opens today

President Mahinda Rajapaksa will open the Deyata Kirula development exhibition in Kandy today at 4.00 p.m.

This is the fourth Deyata Kirula exhibition and the first being held outside Colombo.

Three main locations - the International Buddhist Research Centre, new building complex of the Central Provincial Council and the Prison premises in Pallekele, Kandy will house the exhibition areas.

The public will be able to view the exhibition from 6.00 p.m. today till February 12.

The exhibition is open from 9.00 a.m. to midnight daily.

Adequate security arrangements have been made for the safety and convenience of the public who are expected to arrive in large numbers.
