Kebethigollewa claymore attack:

Major suspect arrested

A special police team attached to the Serunuwara Police Station yesterday arrested the main suspect who was involved in the claymore attack on the bus at Kebethigollewa in 2006. Over 64 persons including the infants, pregnant ladies and schoolchildren were killed by the attack.

The bus was packed with school children, and pregnant women going for prenatal care clinic when it was caught in a twin claymore explosions. The claymore mines were believed to have been planted by the road side.
