A/L answer scripts re-evaluation on February 15

The Examinations Department will commence the re-evaluation process of the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination 2009 answer scripts on February 15, Examinations Commissioner General Anura Edirisinghe said.

The results of the re-evaluation are scheduled to be issued in March. "As planned the evaluation process will prevail a few weeks. However, the results will probably be issued by the last week of March," Examinations Department sources said.

According to the Department of Statistics, the Examinations Department has received around 61,000 applications. The Examinations Department is engaged in arranging the re-evaluation process now.
