Children not selected for Year 1:

Parents told to appeal

The Education Ministry requested parents of children who have not yet been selected to any school for Year One school admission to forward their appeals to the relevant Zonal Education Offices.

Parents are requested to forward their applications early.

The Education Department will look into these applications and steps will be taken to have the students enrolled in a suitable school.

No students will be enrolled to National Schools since the admission process for National schools has already been completed. If there are vacancies in National Schools the vacancies will be completed only from the waiting list, sources at the National School Division of the Education Ministry said.
