Virtusa Corporation unveils new visual identity

Virtusa Corporation (NASDAQ: VRTU), a global IT services company that offers a broad spectrum of business consulting, IT services and IT outsourcing, yesterday unveiled the new visual identity of its corporate brand. The new visual identity, including a new logo, highlights Virtusa’s commitment to focus on delivering business outcomes to customers. The new tagline “Accelerating business outcomes” reinforces and emphasises the company’s value proposition of providing technology solutions to customers that enable them to improve their customer experience, improve time to market, lower costs and expand market reach.

The new logo represents a leaner, sleeker version consistent with the company’s approach. In line with the modern 21st century trend, the logo design leverages sans serif, fonts and lower case design.

Virtusa Corporation Chairman and CEO Kris Canekeratne, said “The new visual identity builds upon our values, culture and rich software engineering heritage, in addition to symbolizing our focus on accelerating business outcomes and improving IT efficiencies for our clients. We believe the identity will effectively position our value proposition among our key stakeholders including our clients, team members and shareholders.” Virtusa’s value proposition is based on a strong foundation of its deep service portfolio, enhanced global delivery model, rich software engineering heritage, adopting measured quality focus and utilizing advanced processes and methodologies.

“Our brand is one of our most prized assets and it brings considerable value to our business,” said Virtusa Corporation Senior Vice President - Marketing, Doug Mow. “Our clients, employees and shareholders connect the most with what the brand stands for — quality, innovation, customer-focus and a values-rich culture. We’re strengthening all our attributes and giving our brand a contemporary look that is more relevant for business today,” he said.

The change in the brand identity is a step forward and is aimed at effectively communicating the company’s value proposition, capabilities and services.
