Less buying power for US families
US: The US Department of Labour informed the buying power of the US
families was reduced because of lower salaries in 2009, loss of jobs and
the increase of the price of fuel.
The period coincided with the first year of mandate of President
Barack Obama, was considered a bad period and during the time
enterprises took a great part of the difficulties to their workers.
Other price-increasing aspects were medical attention and education,
among the fundamental services.
That and other factors made the acquisitive power of the US families
decrease in 2009, and the prices went up 2.7 percent.
These reasons stopped the expense of the consumers and the
perspectives of a recuperation.
