Cricket balls distributed in Jaffna

Eleven schools involved in the under 19 schools season in Jaffna were recipients of cricket balls distributed by Sri Lanka Cricket in their objective of supporting and encouraging all schools in the Island.

The distribution centre in Jaffna was St Patrick's College and all recipients were in attendance to receive the balls. Chairman Sri Lanka Cricket was accompanied by M. T. A. Rauf, Secretary of Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association, while Rev. Fr. Jaro Selvanayagam Principal of St Patrick's and Susitharan, Secretary of Jaffna District Cricket Association also officiated at the function. 521 Schools in 9 provinces have received cricket balls for the ongoing current season.
