Dharmaraja College Old Boys beat present boys by three wkts in a
limited over (35 over) cricket match played for the Bandula Gunaratne
Memorial Trophy at the Lake View Grounds recently.

Bandula Gunaratne, former cricketer of Dharmaraja during the eighties
passed away under tragic circumstances a few months ago when he was
serving as the Asst. Supdt. of Police and this Trophy was presented by
his team mate Kusal Ratnayake, the present President of the Dharmaraja
Cricket Foundation.
The late Bandula Gunaratne's brother Vasantha took 6 for 26 for the
Old Boys while Prathap Silva. Scored 69 for the present Boys.
