President's victory certain - Minister Goonatillake

The historic victory won by the forces has been betrayed by Sarath Fonseka, Posts and Telecommunications Minister Nandana Goonatillake said. He was addressing a protest campaign against the statement made by Sarath Fonseka, at the Panadura Bus stand.

"This is the gravest betrayal in the history of this country. Those who love their motherland would never endorse such conduct". He said the victory of President Mahinda Rajapaksa on January 26 is as certain as the sun and the moon.

The Minister said that all patriotic forces were living up to defeat the bastions of traitors using all their might.

Among the protestors were Western Provincial Council Minister Jagath Angage and a host of Pradeshiya Sabha members.
