UNP manifesto:

MEP asks for inquiry

Mahajana Eksath Peramuna General Secretary Karunatilaka Dissanayaka has written to Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickramanayaka to order an investigation on how an INGO had funded the UNP to print its latest policy manifesto.

He had said in his letter to the Premier that a German INGO had printed the UNP booklet Anagatha Abhiyogaya (Future Challenges) and to get an investigation done to ascertain whether a foreign body donating funds to a political party was a violation of the laws of Sri Lanka.
