Sri Sumangala College, Kandy, became Kandy Schools Under-13 Soccer Champions when they beat Rasindev Vidyalaya 2-0 after a penalty shoot out in the finals played on the Bogambara Stadium in Kandy.

The finals turned out to be a hotly contested battle and when referee Ranjith Karunaratne blew no side, neither side had scored.
