Samaratunga a 15 wkt haul

Left arm spinner Anushka Samaratunga came closer of capturing all ten wickets in an innings as Isipatana College trounced Mahanama MV outright by an innings and 91 runs in their inter school under 19 cricket tournament match which concluded at Rifle Green yesterday.

The second year coloursman returned astonishing figures of nine wickets for 22 in the second innings as Mahanama MV were bundled out for 102 runs in their second innings. Earlier Samaratunga captured six wickets for 25 to skittle out Mahanama MV for a paltry 66 runs in the first innings while replying to Isipatana's first innings total of 259 runs. Samaratunga with this matchbag of 15 wickets brought his overall wicket tally to 68 in the current inter-school season from just nine outings.
