Minister tells Nil Balakaya :

Youth receive right vision

The youth of the country have received a real vision which was never seen before, during the regime of President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Plantation Industries Minister D.M. Jayaratne said.

He said President Rajapaksa had made an outstanding contribution to create a bright future for the youth in the country.

He was addressing representatives of Nil Balakaya which gathered at Gampola recently under the patronage of Tharunyata Hetak President Namal Rajapaksa.

Minister Jayaratne said the role of the younger generation on national development was clearly identified by President Rajapaksa during his mission as a cabinet minister in his political career.

He said there would have been no future for the youth if terrorism had not been defeated by President Rajapaksa. What the Nil Balakaya is telling us is to rally round this reality. Tharunyata Hetak President Namal Rajapaksa said there is a trend to rally round Nil Balakaya and the guidance of President Mahinda Rajapaksa is always given to this movement. He said he hopes to make the youth aware of the reality throughout the country. “All of us are bound to do it as responsible youths of the country”, Rajapaksa said.
