President meets A'pura community

President Mahinda Rajapaksa began his three-day official visit to Anuradhapura yesterday.

The President met youth undergoing vocational training, youth sport club members, civil security force members and bank officials yesterday in three separate sessions and listened to their problems, requirements and proposals.

Arrangements have been made for representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the region, private bus owners, trade unions and private bus drivers to meet the President. Three thousand five hundred UNPers and JVPers, 350 from each electorate in the North Central Province will get UPFA membership.
