WB help for IDPs

The World Bank will provide assistance to Internally Displaced Persons in the North to construct their own houses.

Each family will be paid Rs. 325,000 in seven instalments.

Eight thousand houses will be constructed in the Divisional Secretary's Divisions of Puttalam, Kalpitiya, Mundel and Wanathavillu.
