Virantha and Sanduni most outstanding players

Virantha Bastians (Sampath Bank) and Sanduni Bollegala (Seylan Bank) were adjudged the Most Outstanding Players in the Delmege Super League Men's and Womens 'A' Division Basketball Tournament which concluded at Otters Aquatic Club courts.

Fisal Mohamad was adjudged Man of the Final.

Sampath Bank emerged champions in the 'A' Division Tournament beating DFCC Group by 69 points to 63 in the final.

Thirty seven firms (31 men's and six women's) participated in the Delmege Super League Basketball Tournament in five Divisions.

It was conducted by Mercantile Services Basketball Association and sponsored by Delmege Forsyth and Co. Ltd.

Most outstanding players

'E' Division - Rumal Indika (Ceylinco Insurance Co).

'D' Division - Latif Jaleel (SriLankan Airlines B).

'C' Division - Tharindu Rupasinghe (Avant Garde SS).

'B' Division - Roshan Fernando (Hatton National Bank).

'A' Division - Virantha Bastians (Sampath Bank).

Man of the final - Faizd Mohamad (DFCC Group).

Women's 'B' Division - Rosemarie Vanlangenberg (Nations Trust Bank).

Women's 'A' Division - Sanduni Bollegala (Seylan Bank).
