'Promised Delivered' launched

A book containing a series of print and electronic media published
articles and interviews of Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa's
involvement and his role in the humanitarian operation was launched at
the Defence Ministry yesterday morning.
The book titled Promised Delivered was edited by Dhammika Seneviratne
and published by S. Godage and Brothers.
Speaking to the media Seneviratne said the book Promised Delivered
was published to recall the role and involvement of Defence Secretary
Rajapaksa during the humanitarian operation which lasted for two and
half years.
"This book contains articles and interviews carried in the print and
electronic media. The book will be a reliable source for any reader
going through the history of war in Sri Lanka", he added.
He said 12 DVDs containing interviews given by the Defence Secretary
are also included in the book.
Senaviratne noted that people those who have different views and
opinions on the humanitarian operation and the war victory can obtain
information to clear their doubts.
The profit collected by the sale of the book will be donated to the
Api Wenuwen Api Housing projects for the war heroes.
He said it was not a personal work but a team work.
