President foiled country’s division

Under the leadership of President Mahinda Rajapaksa those who had attempted to divide the country failed. But the statements made by the Opposition candidate had only pleased the divisive forces at home and abroad, UPFA General Secretary and Education Minister Susil Premajayanth said yesterday.

The United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) comprises over 33 political parties and groups.
